Client-Side Storage Only

All text analysis happens entirely in your browser. Your documents and analysis history are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• You have complete control over your writing and history
• You can clear your history at any time through the browser
• Your data is not accessible to us or any third party

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This analytics service collects anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, and general location (country level). This data helps us improve the website experience but does not include any of your document content or personal writing.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for analytics purposes only. No cookies are used to track your individual documents or writing content.

Third-Party Services

WritePolish operates entirely client-side with no external API dependencies for core functionality. All style checking, citation validation, and analysis features run in your browser without sending data to external services.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your personal data on our servers, there's nothing for us to delete or export. You maintain complete control over your data through your browser's storage settings.
